I never wore jewelry, never had my ears pierced and I certainly never had a tattoo. I was a nurse and my days were spent in the emergency room, and when my day was over I was so exhausted it was all I could do to drag myself home to bed. I was lucky, though, I met a wonderful man while working: an ER doctor. We were a lot alike so I never felt the need to dress up or add jewelry to my wardrobe. But something changed for me. I can’t really put it into words what happened. I just became disenchanted with nursing. I believe the professionals call it burnout. Whatever it was it changed my world, and soon after I left nursing forever, and started to look for my next profession. I found it in the teaching profession, specifically teaching teenagers in high school. That’s where I discovered jewelry, pierced earrings and tattoos. The Weekend in Pismo Beach

For my anniversary my husband bought me a two beautiful silver bracelets. He has very exquisite taste in jewelery. I am a lucky woman .Two months ago ago he bought me a pendant called a Venus twisted silver heart . Very romantic and tasteful. I bought him a weekend getaway vacation for him and I. I found it for reasonable cheap and it will be something he will enjoy and relax. We are booked on the red eye to fly out to California and we will be in Pismo Beach. There is so much to do there and Morrow Bay is a few miles north, but I think we will soak in the sun and have a wonderful lobster dinner at one of the local restaurants. And then later there is a well known pup we can get a drink and dance. It will be a nice weekend for him. He really works hard so this will be also a nice thank you gift,for all he does.
